Assistant Fit Technician

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in apparel industry.
Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and excel.
Experience & strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, cut & sew and sweaters.
PAD knowledge an asset.

Excellent communication and interaction skills.
Self-motivated, detail oriented and highly organized.
Proven ability to prioritize and organize with meticulous follow up skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & be production oriented with ability to identify, analyze and resolve fit issues.
The ability to work easily within a team.
Bilingual: English & French. Good knowledge of French and English (written and spoken). Strong English is required for communications with suppliers outside Quebec.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Update detailed tech packs for production, including updating sketches in Illustrator.
Measure, review and prepare all samples.
Manage samples organization, including tagging (dates and approval status), preparing samples for sale, and maintaining customer-specific folders and labels.
Communicate with customers by sending samples and pictures for approval and ensure to follow up for feedback.
Prepare and organize customer folders, including CADs, printed tech packs and related documentation.
Provide administrative support to the Fabric Department.
