Description

A Montreal-based wholesale fashion apparel company with a diverse North American and international clientele is looking for a talented and motivated Assistant Fashion Designer to join our team.

In this role, you will support the design and development of tailored garments including pants, blazers, skirts, and dresses, while contributing to monthly product offerings across a wide range of customer profiles and styling needs. This is a great opportunity to grow in a dynamic environment and be part of a creative team.

Qualifications

College diploma in Fashion Design
0–1 year of fashion industry experience
Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Bilingual (English & French)
Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
Strong follow-up and organizational skills

Duties / Responsibilities

Create sketches using Illustrator
Develop trims using Illustrator and Excel
Assist in print development (creating repeats, re-colorations) using Illustrator and Photoshop
Produce CADs with Illustrator
