Senior Fit Technician

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in apparel industry.
Proficient in Illustrator & Photoshop.
Experience & strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, cut & sew and sweaters and woven
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, detail oriented and highly organized.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and follow up meticulously.
PAD knowledge is an asset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment and resolve fit issues efficiently.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Bilingual: English & French. Good knowledge of French and English (written and spoken). Strong English is required for communications with suppliers outside Quebec.

Create detailed tech packs, including creating the sketches using Illustrator.
Measure & prepare all fit samples for fittings on live model.
Analyze and adjust fits in collaboration with the designer, make appropriate correction and clearly communicate fit adjustments to overseas using sketches & patterns.
Maintain daily communications with makers overseas and with customers requirements.
Advise the Designer about specs and quality standards for the new development when required.
Approve all trims on garment and create grading information once garments are approved.
Communicate with customers by sending samples and pictures and follow up to obtain feedback.
Approve fabric quality & color for production.
Assist other divisions including woven as needed.
